Hi all,

I'm going to be cooking two butts and four racks of spares for superbowl.  My plan right now is to cook the butts at 170* for four hours and then go to 240-250 for the remainder of the cook.  I'm hearing 250* on the spares for four hours.  No foil on either during the cook.

I'm thinking of starting the butts around 8PM-9PM tonight and then wrapping them tomorrow AM when their finished, and holding them in a cooler until game time (if that doesn't work I'll pull them and reheat).  I was going to put the ribs on right after I pull the butts.

Does this sound like good cook temps and times or should I do something else?  Any comments are welcome.

170 is a little low to me. I use 180.

Pork Shoulders,  I start at 180 - 190 for 6 to 8 depending on the amount of time I have.  I shoot for 13 hours.. I also raise to 250
